Friends are an integral part of life, it doesn’t matter if you two hundred thousand miles apart, the connection remains and the bonds created over time are priceless.
One priceless friendship is with explorer and waterman Chris Bertish who has asked Bruce Macdonald to be on his “Board of advisors” on his newly opened Chris Bertish FOUNDATION trust.
Bruce has worked on all of Chris’s documentaries following his exploits, he is the Executive Producer on Ocean Driven, The Executive Producer and one of the Producers on Last Known Coordinates (to be released shortly world-wide)
Being on the team, is a honour and privilege.
Follow Chris and support his foundation as he achieves what most would consider IMPOSSIBLE – chrisbertishfoundation.org
His exploits include winning Mavericks, a story we tell on a documentary feature entitled Ocean Driven. The opening sequence on this film shows the power of the ocean and perhaps the madness of riding giant size waves of this power and magnitude. Putting your life at risk?
He then attempted the next challenge crossing the Atlantic Ocean on a STAND UP PADDLE BOARD, unsupported, solo. Mere madness to most human beings. A trip of 4660 nautical miles on your own. Watch the trailer to see what challenges he encountered. This is a next level achievement. Imagine being alone for 93 days in the Atlantic, encountering giant waves, sharks, loneliness and a sinking craft.
Being an adventurer and waterman, Chris is about to set off on his next exploit, – TRANSPAC WING PROJECT. See the trailer below. I sometimes wonder if he will ever stop pushing the boundaries, but somehow doubt it as I think its in his DNA.
He is not only going to BREAK A WORLD RECORD, but raise huge amounts of awareness and money for conservation, climate change, education and sustainability, while inspiring positive change to all who follow his journey.
If this inspires you, please think of donating to this project and be part of the change.
Why support the foundation?
“The Foundation inspires positive change in the world through inspirational talks, films, books, workshops, educational curriculums and guidance on Conservation and Sustainability”
