Time for prayer

Candles are lit for prayer intentions. To ‘light a candle’ for someone indicates one’s intention to say a prayer for another person, and the candle symbolises that prayer.

Porto is littered with images, churches, and monasteries that remind one of the faith that society once relied upon. This beauty and architecture is seen as beautiful historic buildings, perhaps they should be used again to pray for others, to make a difference in lives across the world or closer to home.

Maybe there isn’t anybody you know that needs prayer?, Sadly my list is so long I don’t think there is enough time in the day to lift them all up. The needs out there are so great.

Then I look around me and every day there is a sunrise, a sunset, and so much to be thankful for.

The list of positives, can go on and on, I have a beautiful wife, incredible children, the best friends and a life thats full. Much like any other there are struggles but I choose no matter what my circumstance.

Telling meaningful stories whether they shorts or features is what gets me out of bed every day. Passionate about those captured in slavery. Biographical films (The Perfect wave with Scott Eastwood) and (Biblical epic Samson with the late Rutger Hauer, Jackson Rathbone, Billy Zane and Taylor James) My recent short films Beat The Curve, Sex Tourism Labour have been awarded best shorts across the globe in 2020.

  1. Hi Bruce. Just know that the lord hears our heart we may forget details on prayer but the lord knows every name….just pray it matters not where ,How or the length is the humility and the connection that matters to God.

Happy blessed Easter brother. He is risen ……as we too will rise from this material plain leave our denser bodies and enter the eternal realm of Heaven defying death and time.
